Our Approach
How We Work
First, we will start with a one-hour discovery call – this is completely free and no-obligation. You tell us about your organisation, the problem (or problems!) you’re trying to solve, and your vision for success.
After the call, if you decide to engage Roots + Wings, we will write up a brief proposal outlining what you have told us, how we would approach it, and what the deliverables would be. We’ll provide an itemised quote, for full transparency. You can review this and add or take away parts of the project, so you feel confident that the scope of work will deliver what you need.
Once the scope of work is agreed, we will send you a contract covering confidentiality, data protection and IP ownership, so you can trust that everything you share with us remains private and securely protected.
Throughout the project, we will communicate little and often – no long periods of waiting and wondering what we are doing. You can choose whether you prefer regular check-in calls, weekly update emails or a mixture of both – whatever works best for you.

Pricing Structure
Our day rate is £500 per day.
We work one day per week completely pro bono for non-profit organisations led by people who face systemic discrimination and whose organisation can’t afford to pay for consultancy.

We do not offer discounts to other clients. By working with us, you are subsidising our pro bono work and putting your feminist principles into action to redistribute privilege throughout the charity sector.
